"My style of design/build has evolved over 35 years of living in the Methow Valley.
The aged structures found in the hills and valleys of the rural world at large...relics from a long ago era...are what drives my design process. I strive to have a minimal impact on the land…to create a structure that blends with its surroundings.
My focus is on low impact homes with an emphasis on recycled materials. Long term relationships with recycled material providers in the Pacific NW gives me the ability to create an indigenous response to my client’s individual site and needs.
Each project is very different. Each client has their own dream list. My job is to design a structure that integrates those dreams into the character of the home site."
